Maiden Post

So, I've finally decided to start a blog. What compelled me to do so? I guess I've always thought that blogging was never my thing, more the domain of those who like to rant, who are highly opinionated and who have a lot to say, none of which describes me. I've been too lazy to actually start a blog, merely contented with just commenting on other people's blogs, not to mention the fact that blogging is time consuming, and there is a pressure to constantly update. However, i guess blogging also has its merits, in that it enables friends whom I may not have seen a while to keep up with whats happening in my life. Besides, i think blogging promotes self reflection as properly typed out thoughts enables one to critically analyze what's going through their mind. It enables one to share interesting moments in life, to share a thought, photos, a funny video chanced upon online, or perhaps a thought provoking article.

A few people have suggested that i start a blog, which is why i shall endeavour to do so. After all, it is the holidays, and i supposedly should have a lot of free time (though i find that i've been going out a lot after exams were over. haha). Though, i guess blogging could become another form of procrastination, of which i am already quite the expert =(. Yeaps, so i guess now's the time to take the leap from merely commenting on people's blogs to actually start blogging!!
(we'll see how long this lasts... hahaa)
