Poker @ Crown

Yesterday, was the first time i played at the poker tables in Crown Casino as i was told by Ralph that Crown's been offering free entry Poker Tournaments on Monday nights. Called Damien and 24 to come along too, but they didn't manage to sign up as they came later and there were already too many ppl waiting on the reserve list. Suffice to say, i didn't even make it to the final rounds. First hand i was dealt was a 6 and 7 but i folded, with a few ppl calling all ins. Table cards were something like 6 6 A 7 3. Would have gotten a full house, but that's how things are. Folded the next few hands and called an all in with a K Q. Well, needless to say, i lost, but it was a good experience nonetheless.

Anyway, a Happy Birthday wish goes out to Mei Chin, one of the few ppl i know in my course. Got to know this girl properly last year from tramming to/from uni together (coz we're always late =p). I can always count on you to entertain me and keep me awake in boring lectures with all your silly nonsense. Disturbing me in class, drawing on my hand, playing games and not concentrating on the lecture, embarrassing yourself by doing stupid things, etc. haha. But i also appreciate your help with assignments, and motivating me to do work, not to mention random chats about almost anything. Really glad to have u as a friend. Hope you had an awesome birthday!

On another note, i went to Phillip Island today, but i'll update soon when i get the photos. Had 4 hours sleep last night. Time for bed.
