Of assignments and more assignments.
I just realised that i'll only be having 3 hours of classes this coming week! And 6 hours the following weeks till the end of semester. Which is in stark contrast to the 24 contact hours i had in first year. =)
Though the lack of proper uni contact hours doesn't mitigate the amount of work i'm currently facing. A 10,000 word final year report due on Wednesday, and a Strategic Marketing Plan that might just reach up to 100 pages long. Finding information about a company isn't an easy task. And having to explain how economics indicators like the GDP, forex rate, interest rate, etc. affects the industry is totally alien to a non-commerce student like me. I'll be working from sunrise to sunset, and burning the midnight oil this week, that's for sure... =(
And then there's a final year project exhibition the following week, some tedious programming assignment sometime later, and an Optimisation project on the last day of semester. The life of an engineering student. It's always been like that. Free the entire semester, watching with amusement whilst others have their midsems, but then suffering during the last few weeks when all our assignements contrive to end up being due around the same time.

you don't have to wait till the deadline is around the corner..you could have started it when you got the assignment..haih..you have only urself to blame.. :-p
hahaa. Look who's talking. Okay, i admit i've never been one who starts my assignment weeks in advance of the due date, but you're not any better.!! =P
Sigh, i hate this marketing assignment. CC said it's the hardest assignment she's done, and i very smartly decided to choose this subject as my elective..!! =(
it was so easy in summer..hehe guess it's quite unfair to those of u doing it now..i'm sure it's not that difficult..it's just that it's soooooo tedious..hehe good luck!

Anyway you know what, i went to see the marketing tutor yesterday, and she said she's freaking out over the amount of potential marking as the plan called for us to do a 4000 word marketing plan, but everyone's way overshooting the world limit. And there were ppl coming to see her with 13,000 word essays! It's the stupid lecturers fault for giving such a difficult assignment. Oh, i should show u the template - 43 pages long EMPTY! Apparently it's the first time they're asking students to create a marketing plan. And it's the lecturer's last semester teaching. Might explain why he's torturing us...
michael beverland is a bloody dickhead...i only went for his first lecture in summer...after that i just couldn't be bothered...
anyway here's a tip...they are not going to read your entire marketing plan...just include lots of graph, tables, charts to make it look good!!!! hehehe...serve them right for not having a word limit!!!! but 13,000 is a bit ridiculous...
